Description
An environmentally friendly filter material made from recycled glass. A better and more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional filter sand, as the material does not require mining. All fractions are drummed to avoid sharp edges. Advantages of Eco glass over conventional filter sand:
- More efficient: removes 30% more pollution than sand, saving water, energy and chemicals.
- It doesn’t wear out, which means it lasts longer.
- Eco glass with a higher fraction does not come out of the filter during the backwash cycle
