Aqualoon: a new and unique filter media for cartridge and sand filters. Polyethylene fibrous material balls. Filtration capacity up to 3 microns. Capable of catching grease, among other things. The material is reusable, machine washable. 700g Aqualoon replaces approx. 25kg of filter sand. Suitable primarily for small pools, jaccuzies, hot tubs, folding patio pools, etc. because a powerful pump is not needed to backwash the (sand) filter. The filter material is lightweight and allows the filter container to be easily moved indoors at the end of the season, etc.
