Naturbad Riehen

A natural swimming pool on the border between Germany and Switzerland, in the town of Riehen.

This natural pool in the north of Italy is in the town of Gargazon

The biological purity of the water in the Gargazon Natural Bath is taken care of by plants, while physical particles are removed by a filtration system. The bathing pond contains a total of ~2300 m3 of water, which passes through the filtration system (plants + filters) more than 2 times a day. During the swimming season, a pool robot helps to keep the bottom of the pool areas clean.

Facts

The triumph of natural water bodies

Natural water pools, which do not use chlorine to poison the aquatic environment by causing toxic reactions, have been built elsewhere in Europe for decades. More specifically since the mid-1980s. Due to the increasing allergic health problems caused by chlorine, natural swimming pools are gradually creeping onto the market. Today, it is already possible to achieve disinfecting pool water with alternative and evolving technologies, similar to chlorine disinfection, which has remained reliable until now.
