With Phospat filter cartridges, it is possible to keep the phosphate level in the water below the “magic” limit of 0.035 mg/l and thus virtually eliminate algae growth!

Description

Phosphate filter PHOSPAT

– Reduces phosphate in the water and thus significantly supports bio-filtration
– Suitable for ponds, swimming pools, natural pools, fountains and other water bodies
– Adsorption capacity of approximately 90 000 mg (Phospat 1) or 270 000 mg (Phospat 3) of phosphate
– Flow rate up to 1100 l/h (Phospat 1) or 3300 l/h (Phospat 3).
– Suitable for up to ±50m³ of water (Phospat 1) or up to 150m³ of water (Phospat 3).
– For larger water volumes, several PHOSPATs can be combined
– The Phospat filter cartridge must be protected against excessive contamination by pre-filtration of the incoming water.
– Maximum working pressure: Phospat 1: 6 bar, Phospat 3: 4 bar.

Phospat 1 cartridge is supplied with 1″ male threaded ends. Phospat 3 is supplied with 2″ female threaded ends.

Phosphate is one of the main nutrients for algae in ponds and pools. With Phospat filter cartridges it is possible to keep phosphate levels in the water below 0.035 mg/l! This is the “magic” limit, which is too low for algae, but still does not harm aquatic life and beneficial bacteria. If the cartridge is saturated, it must be replaced (refilling or regeneration is not possible, unfortunately). A big advantage over other phosphate-binding products is that the Phospat filter cartridge does not release any phosphate! The phosphate binding capacity of Phospat cartridges is 30 to 100 times higher than, for example, alternative phosphate removal formulations (iron (III) oxides). Build a bypass for the phosphate filter in the plumbing and let only a small fraction of the circulating water pass through.
