ELECTROLYSIS WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR LOW SALINITY POOLS

SKU: N/A Category:

Description

WATER TREATMENT THAT FULLY ADAPTS TO YOUR NEEDS

  • The combined low-salt hydrolysis and electrolysis unit offers optimal water treatment with very low chlorine production.
  • System operation ensures perfect water disinfection with minimum salt content in the pool water.
  • The device treats low conductivity (from 500 mS) pool water with hydroxide, ozone, hydrogen peroxide and oxygen.
  • Only 1.5 g salt* per litre of pool water (*NaCl) required

Included:

  • Oxylife control unit
  • Electrolysis element
  • Water flow chamber
  • pH/rX probes, grounding and injection valve
  • pH dosing pump 1x
  • Chips to activate pH and rX functions in the control unit
  • calibration fluids for redox and pH

Hydrolysis device connections Ø63mm.

(Not suitable for use in EPDM geomembrane insulated water bodies)

The principle of disinfection is the separation of the H and O atoms of the water molecule (H₂O) to produce active ingredients with strong disinfecting properties. Even stronger than chlorine, but completely safe for pool users in the right quantities.

Hydrolysis: Water (H₂O) consists of two parts hydrogen (H₂) and one part oxygen (O). Hydrolysis means ‘splitting water’. When just the right amount of electric voltage passes through water, the chemical bond of the water molecule is broken. The negatively charged oxygen (or ions) moves to the positive electrode (anode). The following electrochemical reaction occurs: electric potential + 2 H2O = 2 H2 + O2. Other chemical reactions also occur with hydrolysis. It also produces specific ions that oxidise and thus do further disinfection work.
